Artists work together for a worthy cause. Arts & Crafts Fair. 15 – 17th December.
Stilbaai prepare yourself for a feast of arts and crafts during December – the 11th Arts and Craft Fair!
All products exhibited at the Arts and Crafts Fair running from 15 until 17 December at the Stilbaai Community Hall will be originals made by the exhibitors.
The fair will be open from 08h00 until 17h00 daily for the length of the event. The Stilbaai Community Hall is situated in Main Road, Stilbaai West.
An absolute mosaic of arts and crafts will be on sale. The proceeds of the fair will be in aid of Still Bay Animal Protection, a non-profit organization whose focus is the welfare of all animals in the area. This organization receives no grants or sponsorships and is totally dependent on donations and its own fundraising efforts.
Residents will recall Still Bay Animal Protection’s undoubtedly passionate efforts recently to rid the town of the unwanted perpetrators poisoning cats and dogs. They are also involved in finding good homes for stray animals and being foster parents for the less unfortunate and sick animals. To deliver this wonderful service, the organization needs funds and for this worthy cause they are presenting the fair as a Fundraising event.
New exhibitors will have different glass ware, woodwork and mosaics on show and artists will be exhibiting their paintings, pottery, embroided pictures, jewelry, wire work and needle work. Any arts and crafts lover’s dream outing.
Not only will visitor’s eyes be feasting but also their taste buds. New caterers will be feeding the hungry or peckish people with potjiekos, calamari, sweet and sour pork, quiches, slap chipsand many more sumptuous dishes. Every day a special delight will be on the menu and on Saturday, 17 th December, a lamb spit braai, three salads and homemade bread are at the order of the day. All this for the price of R110 pp.
As mentioned before, the proceeds of this fair will assist Still Bay Animal Protection, a registered NPO with NPO Number 099-740 in carrying on with their much needed efforts in protecting animals in need.
Tickets for the event are limited and it will be wise to buy your tickets by 30th November. This will enable the caterers to cater for the correct number of guests.
